David Ziegele -- Fingerstyle Guitar

David Ziegele has been a guitarist, guitar teacher, music transcriber, and guitar collector for more than thirty years.  He plays fingerstyle acoustic guitar in folk, ragtime, jazz, and blues styles, as well as acoustic slide guitar.  David's latest product is a book of guitar transcriptions of Wayne Henderson's solo guitar CD Made & Played, available for sale in fine music stores and directly from David and Wayne.  He also recently recorded a collection of solo guitar arrangements of Protestant hymns and is working on expanding that project into a full CD of tunes.

Bio

David was born and raised in central Illinois.  In addition to his life-long musical activities, he worked for many years at the Environmental Protection Agency and the Peace Corps, which included service as a volunteer in Togo, West Africa.  He retired from Federal service in 2005 and now works as a musician, management consultant, and board member of a charitable non-profit organization.  He and his wife live in the Washington, DC area with Tika, the racing greyhound, now retired.
